Indie Comics Underground had the chance to catch up with Wyatt Holiday to chat about his new project Eternal Armor - Now funding on Indiegogo
They also recruited a pilot - the older brother of one of our protagonists - to test the robot as they studied it. Following a massive thunderstorm some years later, robotic monsters appeared, and the pilot used the robot to defeat them. Over the next several weeks, more waves of monsters came, each appearing after such a storm. Finally, the pilot took the robot into the sky next time one of these storms appeared, seeking to learn more about it. However, an alien craft rocketed from inside the storm - on a collision course at full speed - harpooning the robot and sending both crashing to the ground below. The pilot later died from his wounds and the storms and monster attacks suddenly stopped. Our story picks up 12 years later.
Who is the team working on the book?
I am the writer, Joaquin Zapata is the artist, and Eric Weathers will handle the lettering. Covers are by Caanan White and Preston Asevedo.
What would you like to see as the future for Eternal Armor?
I just want to tell great stories and give the customers and readers the kinds of comics they want to read, so I would definitely like to see Volume 2 in the future. Even though the book will be a self-contained story, the overall saga is much larger, and I welcome everyone to come along for the journey!
