Indie Comics Underground had the chance to talk to Milton Aguiar about his project Raptor: The Preamble now funding on Indiegogo
What were some of your inspirations in creating Raptor?
Raptor had a variety of inspirations, such as Batman, Captain America, Green Arrow, and even Kingsman among a few more. There's also some military themed movies as inspirations like Battleship and The A-Team.
What are Raptor's powers?
Raptor is like Batman in that way, no powers, only resources and skill. He can glide with his cape (I mean he represents birds of prey, he needs to have some way to be in the air), has retractable claws, electric shock gloves, a grappling hook on his arm, etc.
How far along is the comic?
This book will be 56 pages story wise, and we have around 20 pages penciled, 15 are inked and 12 are already complete. It is a good progress for only one guy doing all of the visual part, I think.
