Your comic book project, The Ace Volume One is currently funding on Indiegogo, for anyone who is unfamiliar, what is The Ace Volume One?
THE ACE volume one is the story of David Diaz. A young man looking for purpose in his life after turning 21 and leaving college. When one day he comes across the remains of a shooting star which grant him the ability to transform into an armored being. Who is the most sought after object in the universe.

From the sounds of it, The Ace has a sort of old school, chance encounter type of origin. Will we eventually learn more about the origins of the armor?

Yes definitely, the origins of the armor and it's power is something that will be touched on and explored through future volumes in this series.

How does the discovery of the armor affect David's life?
It affects him in multiple ways. First off in David's world there are no superheroes or aliens. This discovery changes his entire world view as it introduces him to many things he didn't know even existed.

We can see a really cool looking shark villain in the featured artwork. Is that the main villain of Volume One?
Yes, Akula is the main antagonist on this story. He's a very well known and dangerous intergalactic bounty hunter who is the first to find David.

With the armor seeming to be of extra terrestrial origins, does that mean that The Ace will end up in outer space?

Definitely, THE ACE will explore space and come across lots of different planets and beings across the universe.

Who is the team working on the book and how did you come together?
The main artist on the book is Ibai Canales along with Teo Gonzalez on colors. I also have an Epilogue story by Sweens in the book and a 4 page Angelyke Origin by the Howl Comics. Plus a great cover by Donal Delay. Most of these artist I have known through getting commissions from them in the past. I just reached out to them and pitched them my idea and they all agreed to join me in making the book.
With Volume One well on its way to funding, what do you see as the future for The Ace?
I would love to make this an ongoing series and put out at least one book a year.
